We are thrilled to announce the Summer EXPO in Stockholm this Summer. It will be be hosted at Ad Astra by Elite Hotel, by the riviera in Stockholm.
We will have a total of 30 artisans & Indie perfume houses from all over the world, showcasing the finest in perfumery and craftsmanship.
Our lecturer for day one will be none other than Maya Njie, and for the second day, Ricardo Ramos.

PERFUME EXPO SUMMER 2025
Location
The EXPO this summer, on the 31st of may and 1st of june will take place at luxurious spa-hotel Ad Astra by Elite.
This award-winning hotel is the best rated hotel in Sweden, and is located in Södertälje, which is south of Stockholm by the riviera.
The total venue size is over 700m2 including the beautiful hallway that will include art, and exhibitions by artists.
Guest lecturers
We are honored to have two world class independent perfumers to lecture at Polaris this Summer.
First we have Maya Njie to the left.
Maya is a world renowned self-taught perfumer with a gambian-swedish heritage, that draws inspiration from Childhood, memories, and family to create minimalistic, chique and amazing olfactory pieces.
The lecture will be called “Exploring identity, Art, and independent Perfumery”
Maya has been celebrated in Monocle, New York Times, Vogue and Wallpaper for her unique storytelling approach to scent.
Ricardo Ramos is our second guest lecturer and is originally from Colombia, living in spain.
The lecture will be called “The Latin American Legacy in Contemporary Perfumery“.
During this conference Ricardo will talk about raw materials with denomination of origin from Latin America, all of them prominent and essential in contemporary perfumery, highlighting their historical/cultural context.
They will be presented to the attendees for them to know their olfactory profiles, sharing some hints about their performance in a fragrance composition.
During the activity, some examples of contemporary perfumery where these ingredients appear will be introduced to the attendees in order to contextualize them.

Joining us on the Expo will be 30 perfume houses from 15 different countries in the category of Indie, Artisan and independent perfumery. Here we have some beautiful houses listed, and enjoy the visuals.

Mabra Parfums
The story of Mabra
I am Brahim Mohamed, the creator and perfumer of MABRA. I develop handmade perfumes in limited series in an artisanal manner in France in my private workshop. I am completely independent, teaching myself how to create “artworks” through reading and extensive research over several years.
Self-taught, I make perfumes with quality materials combining. My perfumes are 99% natural.
My favorite natural materials are Wild Oud from India or Burma. I like Organic Oud from Trat in Thailand aswell. I really like animalic notes like Ambergris, Deer Musk and Civet. Notes such as Vetiver, Citrus, leathery notes and floral notes are some of my favorite scents too.
I really like using Maroke wood as incense and Oliban “Hojari”.
I like simple things, discretion and honest people. I am committed to offering quality perfumes at a fair and reasonable price.
Zanini
About zanini
Zanini is one of the leading artisans in the world of high end, sustainable, and small batch limited perfumery.
Fun fact: They distill and handpick raw materials such as rose by themselves!
Zanini crafts olfactory landscapes, known as “smellscapes,” which combine scents, aromas and sensations of both real and imagined places.
Zanini are two friends, Giacomo and Filippo.
After years of working side by side in the office, they decided in 2023 to start a new adventure. It all kicked off during a road trip from Prato to Basel.
Out of the blue, with the GPS giving directions,
Filippo casually says, “You know, I’ve been making smellscapes for 10 years”
Zanini deeply respect nature’s timing, the right moment for harvest and allowing months for both extraction and maturation. Handmade and unique.
Altra Profuture
Challenging industry norms with her synthetic-free scents and sustainable practices, Brown has established one of the few truly natural luxury perfume houses worldwide, boldly reimagining the artistry and nuance that natural scents can express.
Founder and perfumer Beckielou Brown will introduce guests to her unique approach to natural perfumery. In this masterclass, Brown will discuss how she uses natural raw materials both in their classical use of depicting ‘true to nature’ scent profiles, as well as reimagining man-made notes and building a sense of space and structure that form the backdrop in her compositions.
Guests will get to explore a selection of raw materials in their unprocessed form, as well as in different distillations, experiencing the distinct qualities that arise from the different regions and extraction methods.
The workshop will aim to highlight the beauty, complexity and quality of natural materials, and their diverse uses in modern perfumery.
