Winter in Stockholm can be quite cold.
Everything between -5 degrees celsius up to -30 degrees celsius is not uncommon during the later months of the year.
Luckily, there’s always something to look forward to in life, and with the EXPO taking place twice a year(Summer & Winter), we hope it might shed some light to these cold months.
The Winter EXPO took place at Quality Hotel Globe, which is a renowned hotel in Stockholm, that is very minimalistic and pleasant and has great location next to Tele 2 Arena.
720 ticket buyers came all the way from different places of the world, to enjoy the finest that perfumery can offer.
With houses such as Jorum Studio, April Aromatics, Ricardo Ramos, Maya Njie, and many more, the venue quickly became the main show.
28 Artisanal perfumers & Indie houses registered for the event, and 24 had the capability to attend.
Lecturer for the event was Ricardo Ramos, with a fantastic interactive lecture regarding Andalusia, and the rich history of perfume materials.
I must say, it was quite an honor to have such an professional showcasing. I’d say pretty much impeccable.
Workshop for the event, was something that i, myself held.
It was a pairing of some natural absolutes(Osmanthus, Patchouli , Tonka Bean and Labdanum) with some artisanal chocolate from Chokladfabriken which is a place in Stockholm for dedicated chocolate lovers. They pretty much make everything there and i definitively recommend it.
For the summer Expo, we will get perfumers to hold some workshops, because quite frankly.. the demand is way too high, and my time is way too limited.
And also, i think experts in the field can hold a much better workshop than i do, so it’s a win-win situation.
Here’s some product photos from the Winter EXPO. Enjoy!
